Networking Solutions

Coral FlexiCom IP networking solutions are supported by a range of IP trunks (BRI and PRI [QSIG over IP] and E&M) and by the full range of phones supported by the Coral FlexiCom family (IP-IST and Coral FlexSet IP phones).

Coral FlexiGate™ gateways integrate existing data networks with voice network features, offering a cost-effective and efficient convergence of voice and data networks. They provide the following benefits:

Remote IST/Fax/Modem/Pure IP Phone over IP Network

Tadiran Telecom Business Systems provides a variety of solutions for cost-effectively enabling VoIP in small locations situations, such as remote offices, branch offices and home-based businesses. For remote and branch offices, regular phones connected to the main office PBX can be connected to QSIG over IP. SOHOs can connect IP-enabled phones over their standard connection, such as ADSL.

Remote office/SOHO solutions are supported by the following units:

UGW (Universal Gateway) – is integrated within the Coral FlexiCom and supports up to 240 FlexSet IP Coral FlexiGate EG1250 FXO – is installed next to the Coral FlexiCom and supports 4 FXS channels for remote IST phones Coral FlexiGate EG1250 FXS – is installed at the customer site and supports 4 remote IST phones Coral FlexiGate EG1 – is an FXS interface that is installed at the customer site and supports 1 remote IST phone, PC interface and link to the PSTN Coral FlexiGate EG50/FXO – is installed next to the Coral FlexiCom and supports from 8 to 48 FXS channels for remote IST phones with all IST features

Coral FlexSet™ IP

Fully featured IP-based phone.

May be used as an extension on the LAN/WAN/Internet, home office phone or remote branch office application phone requiring only a VPN connection type. Allows geographically dispersed ACD and Hunt group applications. Double RJ-45 connection (internal hub) allows the mutual connection of a data device as well as the phone to a single wall RJ-45 receptacle, while at the same time providing priority to the real-time audio data streams.
Features a wide display, soft-keys, directory access and call log, in addition to existing Coral FlexiCom standard functions.

Coral Flexicom IPSet

The Coral FlexiCom IPSet is an IP/IST phone that enables companies to cost effectively provide mobile employees with a toll-quality VoIP connecton. Based on standards compliant connectivity, it allows connection to any analog station card. The Coral FlexiCom IPSet offers multiple protocol options, local or network-based configuration, and multiple codec selections, and more. Software and hardware are both easily upgraded, and it is highly configurable, allowing the IP Set to be tailored to the individual needs of each environment.

Enterprise IP-Based Overall Network Solution

This solution has centralized resources, including: voice call services, CT, unified messaging, remote office and SOHO applications, call center, as well as integrated links to the front office and back office databases and servers. All access protections and traffic encryption are supported. All the features and capabilities that were available in the Coral FlexiCom system as well as the FlexCT capabilities are also now all available for the new IP type ports.

The new Coral FlexiCom IP capabilities allow for advanced system configurations where some or all of the system peripherals are IP-type ports, therefore allowing for total flexibility in mixing IP and non IP type ports as well as total system structure selection (centralized or dispersed).

Applications such as home office, branch office, remote phone, remote keyset, as well as the full range of Coral FlexCT applications, including unified messaging, call center and more, may all be implemented by the new type ports.
