General Communications has several positions open in our technical division. We are seeking dedicated field service technicians to service traditional as well as VOIP based business phone systems. Experienced individuals or individuals with a strong ability to learn preferred, however, we will train the right candidate. Candidates will be required to learn and develope a strong sense of the overall dimensions of the work they will be performing. Candidates must possess excellent communication and analytical skills in order to comprehend our customer needs and to determine the proper actions required to resolve their questions or needs for equipment ordering or system set up. The successful candidate must also be able to effectively communicate with supervisors and co-workers to work out customer issues or requests. Knowledge of telephone systems, computer hardware, network set up, software and or cable/wiring infrastructure a plus. All applicants must possess a clean driving record and be able to work in a friendly team environment.

Account Executive (positions currently available)
General Communications has several sales executive positions available for both inside and outside representatives. In this exciting position you will help businesses and other organizations meet their challenges by providing customized communication solutions. These offerings include: VOIP and traditional business telephone systems, voice mail systems, communication servers, call center technologies, unified messaging, videoconferencing, and other applications.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
* Establish relationships with potential customers through various prospecting methods
* Analyze customer needs
* Customize an appropriate solution
* Prepare and present sales proposals
* Negotiate and close sales proposals
* Maintain a strong knowledge of systems and applications sold
* Maintain a prospect and customer database
* Prepare sales reports
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have excellent communication skills, a high energy level and an ability to prioritize tasks. He/she should have 2 plus years experience selling products or solutions to corporate customers over the telephone and face to face. A 2-4 year college degree is preferred.
