OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE "HUNTER"

We are searching for a Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate is future focused but also has a history of proven performance and sales growth that will bring increased growth to our market presence. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to generate new leads. They also need to be enthusiastic, results-driven and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting.

Primary Responsibilities
• Generating new business-utilizing cold calls and data base cultivation
• Developing and implementing effective sales plan
• Preparing proposals, estimates of materials/labor, and completing timeline
• Relationship Management

Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree preferred
• Three plus years experience in outside or inside sales and knowledge of the telecom industry (VOIP, LAN/WAN, PBX) is a plus
• Self Motivated, results-driven and highly professional
• Heavy sales/lead generation knowledge/skills
• Independent professional with excellent work ethic

VOIP TECHNICAL SUPPORT HELP DESK/ENGINEER

General Communications, Woburn, MA,  a well established voice & data provider seeks to add qualified personnel to its Technical Support Team. Primary reporting office is our headquarters in Woburn.

The candidate for this position takes initiative, can take the lead on projects and has the ability to work as a team player. He/she is an optimist with a positive attitude, and has the ability to multi-task customer emergencies along with routine trouble resolution and daily duties.  He/she will have impeccable follow through and documentation skills. Knowledge and understanding of various Microsoft compatible technologies and how they integrate is required. Candidate will have a strong desire to self learn new emerging technologies and become the technical resident expert in technology that he/she is working with. Growth potential. Learning is enhanced by hands on work, classroom training and web based training.

Responsibilities include:

Implementing software and hardware voip and telephony applications

Research & resolve of software and integration issues

Competent understanding of technologies such as Windows and Networking

Assist other team members in support and implementation of various technologies, as

   needed

Report to and work with managers, office managers, supervisors & C-level executives

Communicate effectively between technical support and business leaders

Control technical projects from start to finish

Requirements:

2-5 years experience working in voip and/or IT infrastructure

Competent understanding and troubleshooting of Microsoft applications, Lan/Wan

  Networks, Servers

Knowledgeable in the installation of desktop and server OS

Competent in implementing Active Directory applications

Knowledge of the benefits of Microsoft Exchange

Acute knowledge of networking technologies - switches, firewalls a plus

Can flourish in a fast paced environment

Candidate must own a good working vehicle for travel to customer locations as needed

Solid documentation skills and ability to create documents using Visio and MS Office

After hours and weekend schedules may be required

Strong desire to learn new technologies become team expert

Fluent in English Language; Competent in English speaking, reading & writing.

Control technical projects from start to finish

Certifications: Certifications are a plus and will be valued for consideration of compensation.

Travel: Local travel in MA, So NH, RI area may be required. Fuel and all expenses are reimbursed. Health, Dental, 401K and other benefits included.
